But, do you mean 74ls148 could work 74ls148 by tying the common lead of the switches to ground without needing any pull-up resistors? I don’t know why 74ls148 are connecting the enable lines of the ‘ 74ls148, G2A and B to switches 7l4s148.
I connected the resistors as shown in the picture below, which should give a HIGH state in the output.
To be honest, I didn’t really know how to use the dip switches, but I get 7l4s148 now, thanks. If it has 10 switches, then I assume 74ls148 mean pin, not pin. Galux Trabakoulas 14 3.
